tentacles

I spent the weekend at the CTN-X animation expo recruiting with Blue Sky Studios. It's pretty impossible to leave an event like that without being super inspired! I really admire all the artists out there who have carved such a comfortable niche for themselves drawing nothing but naked ladies. So here I've harnessed a bit of that ripe inspiration with a weird naked tentacle lady.

It's nice to see your process from first cintiq drawing to final painting. More process sharing to come, perhaps?

P.S. It's crazy how comfortable you are with a cintiq. I can't do shit for line drawings on Kirsten's.

Thanks for the huge compliment on my blog. The pleasure is all mine. Keep up the fantastic work. Hopefully some of the humor you capture in your drawings will rub off on me.
